A man known for his bizarre behavior, and his love for Whiskey.

The winter of 1987, a fire ripped through the McLean Estate in Northern Michigan, just east of Cadillac. The locals never knew much of the man. And a body was never recovered. One of the few things that were recovered though, were his writings, such as comic book scripts, and short stories, an unfinished novel, and various correspondences. That was almost fifteen years ago.

Mid October, there was a knock on Brian's door. When he opened it, there was a package on his doorstep. With it was a note. "Make this happen." He opened it to find a comic script titled "Divine Providence," the story of unique people who live in a world gone mad with plague.

Since the appearance of these scripts, rumors have been flowing all over the Internet, and snail mail that EGM may be alive and well. And he himself has begun to write again. Time will tell.

Wait-a-minute! two Mike Kings?  yep that's exactly how confused we are when we get e-mail from them both. This is the one working with Annika on the "Lucid" script!

Mike King is a freelance writer who spends his time enlisted in the United States Navy. He began collecting comic books at the age of 7, and unlike most children who fell in love with spider-man and the x-men, he found himself more captivated by the written word then the flashy art work. In seventh grade he was told by his english teacher that he had a lot of talent that was wasted on blood and gore. This was not all surprising, sense the first novel he read on his own was IT by Stephen King. (no relation).   In ninth grade Mike won an honerable mentionin a district writing contest. The winnings ($25savings bond) never reached maturity, as he cashed it to buy alcohol some time around his junior year.  In high school his humor went unapreciated. His antics and jokes were considered a cry for help, and he was tossed into counciling shortly after an art class incident. Each student was tasked with making a diarama out of colored clay, and Mike decided to make his project a statement to the world about the common Police officer, and the emense stress a person in such a job must face. The project was properly labled "Officer Blaise snaps!" and depicted a cop with a bloody billy club standing in the middle of a deserted street. Around him the corpses of civilians littered the ground. One such civilian was even crucified on a near by brick wall, with the slogan "I AM THE LAW!" written underneath the dangling corpse in blood. Yeah... Counciling for sure...   But the art teacher must have seen something in Mike, a talent that no one else saw, because instead of dismantling the project, she instead displayed it in the school art show. The talent grew, and Mike begain submitting written articles to various places. Over the year's he has written his own humor column, and been published in may periodicals. Among a few are: 21st Century, Green Mountain Trading Post, The Sigonella Signature (Free lance journalist for this publication) and other small press, web sights, and news letters.  Lucid is Mikes first attempt at a comic book. What was originally intended to be his first novel was
converted to his first comic series at the advice of a friend.

Creator of "Stranded," Nicholas Rahzel Johnson was born the son of struggling actors on February 20, 1985.  His writing career started at the age of 16, when he was given a chance to intern for a large regional newspaper in Charlotte, NC where he continued to write for the next 2 and a half years.  During that time, he branched out into other areas in writing and began Freelancing for individuals and small companies.  Also, while trying to decide what to write about for his senior thesis paper, he stumbled upon Brian Azzarello's 100 Bullets:  A Foregone Tomorrow and immediately was pulled into the world of comics again after taking an 8 year leave.
His current projects include a dystopian, horror comic called Hell's Atmosphere as well as Stranded.  Creatively, he has yet to be published but has many things published in the journalistic world.  Currently, he attends Full Sail, a school dedicated to multimedia entertainment while writing occaisonally for The Charlotte Observer and Plasma Rag Magazine.

Creator of "Under" and "Horizon," Douglas A. Bryan is a 34 year old avid comic book fan.  Having devoured comics almost since he could read, Douglas began creating characters and storylines for his very own, and to this date, as yet unpublished comic universe at the age of eight.
Having written for nearly 20 years, he has submitted ideas in multiple forms throughout various industries.  He co-wrote a screenplay for a senior project for a college television station in Stonybrook, NY.  He has submitted ideas for various adventures in the role-playing industry.  He also submitted two articles for the, sadly, now-defunct role-playing magazines, Challenge and Shadis.  In the year 2000, he submitted a screenplay for a new cartoon series to MTV that he and his writing partner of the time were offered $1,000,000 dollars for before negotiations fell through.

Possessed of a veritable universe of ideas, Douglas still avidly creates, writes, and submits comic ideas to this day in the hopes of discovery and the chance to ply the craft he loves and possesses much talent for.
His interests in writing lie in the genres of Superhero adventure, science fiction, horror fiction, urban action/drama, mysteries and crime fiction.

My experience includes animation design and storyboards, illustration work, and independent comics. I've produced designs and pages for TruFan Publications (my artwork appears in Fearbook), Main Enterprises (Phantascape #1), Modern Myth Press (an unpublished webcomic), and Argo Comics (Teen Machine).

My storyboards have been used for episodes of Tripping the Rift and Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat. I've also provided storyboards for video games such as Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones.

My first love has always remained comics. I really enjoy pencilling and inking comic scripts; I also like designing characters and coloring digitally. My gallery includes pages from some recently completed work. I'm currently working on a neat webcomic called Nega Fighters.
